Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Claymate, operated by Mo Media Group, handles information when you use the Claymate iOS app and this website (https://claymate.io).

Who we are

Claymate is a pottery companion. Contact: support@momediagroup.io. The exact registered legal entity details are marked for human review.

What we collect

• Account / auth. If you create an account: email, and Sign in with Apple or Google identifiers when those providers are enabled.
• Pottery records. Pieces, photos, stages, clay, surface layers, locations, firings, recipes, test tiles, measurements, notes, studio marks, reminders and related studio setup you enter.
• Photos / media. Photos you attach to pieces, results and test tiles. They are stored privately, not in a public gallery.
• Device / technical data. App version, device type, and similar diagnostics needed to run the app or website.
• Subscription metadata. Entitlement status, product identifiers, and renewal dates provided by Apple and RevenueCat. Claymate does not store full payment card data.
• Support communications. Messages you send through this website or email.
• Website analytics. Optional, env-gated product analytics on this site (page views and CTA events). No extra identity is required to read the marketing pages.

How the app stores data

Claymate is offline-first. Pottery records live on your device. When cloud sync is enabled for your account, records and private photos can be stored with our database and private object storage (currently Supabase) so they can be recovered on a signed-in device. Guest use does not require creating a permanent account.

Analytics and attribution

The app may use PostHog for product analytics and AppsFlyer for install attribution when those services are enabled. Event properties are sanitized so notes, names, emails, photo paths and similar free text are not sent. You can control related settings in the app.

Notifications

Local reminders you create (for pieces or an estimated firing finish) are scheduled on your device. Claymate does not claim a kiln is safe to open.

Processors

Depending on configuration, processors may include:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store billing, notifications
• Google — Sign in with Google when enabled
• Supabase — authentication, database, private photo storage
• RevenueCat — subscription entitlements
• PostHog — product / website analytics
• AppsFlyer — attribution
• Resend — transactional email from this website
• Vercel — hosting this website

Payments

Purchases go through the Apple App Store. RevenueCat helps us understand entitlement. We do not store full card numbers.

Retention, export and deletion

You can export a copy of your studio from Settings. You can delete your account from Settings. Export and deletion are never Pro features. After Pro expires, historical records you made remain readable.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data. Email support@momediagroup.io with the subject “Privacy”.

Children

Claymate is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country).

Changes

We will update this page when the product’s data practices change.
